The Accounts Payable module provides a comprehensive tool to optimize
management capabilities, improve cash management and enhance user efficiency.
The Accounts Payable module is fully integrated with the General Ledger and
Budgeting, Purchase Order and Fixed Assets modules.  Purchase payments and
discounts by vendor are summarized for the current calendar and fiscal year
and prior year.  On-line inquiries to monitor payable status (by vendor, by
invoice and by purchase order) are provided.  Discounts are accommodated in
accordance with the vendor specific terms included in the vendor file.  Other
functions provided with the Accounts Payable module include:  write checks,
void checks, aged accounts payable reports, 1099 reporting, check
reconciliation, and a variety of accounts payable proof and edit reports.
